Hadley Named College Sports Madness Big West Women's Basketball Player Of The Week

Riverside—UC Riverside center Natasha Hadley has been named the College Sports Madness Big West Women's Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Highlanders to a 2-0 record in games played November 26-December 2.
Hadley recorded her second double-double of the season with a 17-point, 13-rebound performance in UCR's 71-65 win over Pac-12 foe Washington State on November 28 (box score/recap/video).
She then came within one rebound of posting another double-double scoring a team-high 15 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the Highlanders 71-43 victory over Northern Arizona on December 2 (box score/recap/video).
For the week, the junior averaged 16.0 points and 11.0 rebounds while connecting on 56.0 percent (14-25) of her shots.
UC Riverside's 5-2 start to the 2012-13 season marks its best-ever start in the program's Division I history.
