The teams' traded buckets over the next three minutes as Pacific's lead fluctuated between 11 and 13 points, until Hadley's 10th point of the half again put UCR within nine, 38-29, at the 14:46 mark.
The Tigers went on a 12-2 run, however, building a 19 point lead, 50-31, with 8:48 left in the game, as the Highlanders were held without a point for almost five minutes.
Pacific led by as many as 20 points, the last at 55-35, but UCR scored five of the next seven points to cut the margin to 15, 57-42, after a three-point play from Jamila Williams at the 3:17 mark.
UCR never got closer than that the rest of the game as the Tigers went on for the victory.
The Highlanders improved their shooting in the second period, hitting 44.4 percent (12-27) of their field goals, but it was not enough as the Tigers still outscored UCR 35-31 in the half.
