Men's Golf 11th At Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate With One Round To Go

Las Cruces, New Mexico - The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team fired a two-round score of 596 on Monday at the 2013 Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, placing 11th out of 17 teams with one round to go. Complete Results
The Highlanders shot 296-300 and are only one stroke behind 10th-place Kansas, and seven shots back of a tie for sixth place. New Mexico State leads the team competition at four-over 572 followed by UTEP (574) and Colorado State (575).
David Gazzolo is tied for 10th individually to lead UCR after rounds of 71-72 (143).
The next three Highlanders--Sam Gillis, Brandon Tsujimoto, and Jason Semthiti--are all tied for 51st with identical 151 scores.
Leven Simon Seay rounds out the squad in 93rd with a 164 (78-86).
Northern Colorado's Ben Krueger is the field's individual leader with a three-under, two-round score of 139.
The final round of the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate gets underway with a shotgun start on Tuesday morning at 7 am PT.
