San Luis Obispo, CA—The UC Riverside Women’s Basketball Team improved its road record to 6-1 after Thursday’s 45-42 victory at UC Santa Barbara, and will look to keep rolling as they travel to Cal Poly on Saturday, February 2 for a 4 pm tip in San Luis Obispo.
The Highlanders got back into the win column Thursday at UCSB, as Natasha Hadley poured in 20 points to help UCR snap a two-game skid (box score/recap).
Cal Poly is tied for second in the Big West standings with a 5-3 league record, most recently defeating Cal State Fullerton 78-40 on Thursday. The Mustangs boast a balanced scoring attack with five players averaging 8.5 points or higher.
The Highlanders own the all-time series mark against Cal Poly, 32-28 (view all-time results).
