Men's Basketball Announces Foreign Tour Trip To Vancouver For September

Riverside—UC Riverside Head Men's Basketball Coach Jim Wooldridge announced today that the Highlanders Men's Basketball program will be heading to Vancouver, Canada from September 4-10, 2013 for a foreign tour where UCR will play three games against local opponents.
Games are tentatively scheduled for September 5, 6, and 9 against teams to be announced at a later date.
"The Vancouver trip is a unique opportunity for our players and coaches to help jump start the 2013-14 season," said Wooldridge. "The practices and games in August and September will help the returning players and new players come together before the rigors of the regular season, all while experiencing a part of the world that many of us might otherwise not have the opportunity to visit."
