Matadors Sweep Women's Tennis, 7-0, To Open Big West Play

Northridge, CA - The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team opened the Big West Conference portion of its 2014 schedule Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 loss at Cal State Northridge.

The Matadors took the doubles point with a sweep in each of the three matches, winning 8-2 at number one, and 8-0 at both the second and third positions.

In singles, CSUN took all matches in straight sets to claim the 7-0 victory.

UC Riverside continues Big West action on Sunday by hosting UC Davis at 12 pm PT at Andulka Park in Riverside.
