Women's Tennis Takes #1 Doubles, But Mustangs Earn Singles Sweep For 7-0 Victory

San Luis Obispo, CA - The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team continued its Central Coast swing on Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 loss to Cal Poly.

In doubles, UCR's number one duo of Jasmine Almaguer and Courtney Pattugalan earned an 8-1 victory over Cornea/Stone, but the Mustangs won 8-2 at number two, and 8-0 at number three to claim the doubles point.

In singles, Cal Poly was victorious in all six of the matches for the 7-0 win.

UC Riverside now prepares to host Cal State Fullerton on Friday, April 11 at 1 pm PT at Andulka Park in Riverside.
