San Diego, CA—The UC Riverisde Men's Tennis Team opened its 2015 spring season at #69 San Diego State Saturday dropping a 7-0 decision to the nationally-ranked Aztecs.
Luis Gaståo nearly knocked off Milen Ianakiev at number two singles taking the first set 6-4 before falling 6-2, 6-1 in the second and third sets. Gaståo and teammate Sean Robles also took part in the most competitive doubles match of the day, losing 6-3 to Thorsten Bertsch and Jonas Meinzer at number three.
