Riverside—Chancellor Kim Wilcox welcomed the newest member of the Highlanders family to campus Tuesday afternoon, as he introduced Tamica Smith Jones as UC Riverside's newest athletics director.
More than 150 supporters were in attendance, including fans, local dignitaries, members of the athletics association, staff members, coaches, student-athletes, and the UCR Spirit Squad.
The full video of prepared remarks by Chancellor WIlcox, Athletics Association Chair Chris Jensen, and Athletics Director Tamica Smith Jones will be made available Wednesday morning.
