Men's Tennis Drops Opener 6-1, San Diego State Next

Riverside—The UC Riverside Men's Tennis team dropped its first match of the 2016 season, 6-1, to Nevada. Sunday, they'll travel to Rancho Mirage to face the San Diego State Aztecs at 1 pm.

Calvin Ngo had the lone singles victory for the Highlanders, outlasting Nevada's Margitfalvi 5-7, 6-3, 14-12. The doubles team of Sean Robles and Hans Baumstark were victorious over Andrada/Cilic, 6-4.

Coach Johansson on today's results, "I think we left some points out there today. We did have some solid play though, especially Calvin battling like he did for a win."
