Yuri Ahn Shoots Career-best 69, Tied With Le In 6th, Women's Golf Alone In Fourth At The Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

Palm Desert—Yuri Ahn shot a career-best three-under 69 in the second round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club.
Ahn and Jakeishya Le will start tomorrow's final round in a tie for sixth at +4 overall.
The Highlanders (+19) are alone in fourth on the team leaderboard, five shots back of front-running Santa Clara (+14). (team leaderboard)
Big West schools Hawai'i (+17) and Cal Poly (+18) are second and third respectively. UCR finished the first round with a two-shot lead over the Mustangs.
Ahn made six birdies against three bogeys in her second round. She played the courses four par 3s at -2 in shaving 10 strokes off her first round total. (player leaderboard)
Santa Clara's Annie Freeman holds the 36-hole individual lead at -6, after firing the other of the tournaments round's in the 60s—a four under-par 68.
Southern Utah's  Kamonwon Prasurtwong is second at -2, two shots ahead of Hawaii's Isebella Leung in third at even par.
Sunday's final 18 gets started at 7:30 am, and will see the Highlanders in the final group paired alongside the three schools ahead of them. (pairings)
