Riverside--The UC Riverside Women's Tennis team dropped both matches Saturday. The first, a 4-3 battle versus Villanova where they split the singles matches, but failed to win the doubles point. In the second match, the Highlanders were blanked by UC Davis, 7-0.

Chloe Pham picked up a straight sets victory, 6-1, 6-1 in no. 1 singles play. Karla Dulay won 6-2, 6-2, while Caroline Hall outlasted Villanova's Evans in a three set victory, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.

The second match of the day, which was moved up from Sunday, was a Big West match versus UC Davis. The Aggies blanked the Highlanders, 7-0. Pham battled to a third set but fell, 10-8 in the final frame.

They return to action Thursday, March 10 in a home match against Utah State at 2:30 pm in the SRC Tennis Center.
