Women's Tennis Matches 1 & 2

Riverside–The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team hosts a pair of matches this weekend. On Friday, January 27 at 1:30 pm, the Highlanders take on Arkansas. Then on Saturday, January 28 at 11 am, they match-up against CSUN in their first conference match of the season.
           
This is the Highlander's first matches of the 2017 season after last week's matches were both canceled due to rain.
           
Arkansas made their 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament last season. They are 2-0 in the SEC so far this year. Last season, they finished 16-14 overall. This will be UCR's first time facing the Razorbacks.
 
Saturday will be CSUN's second match of the 2017 season. On January 26, they open against LMU, whom the Highlanders will face later this year. The Matadors' ended the 2016 season, 10-13 overall and 3-5 in the Big West Conference.

Last year when UCR and CSUN met, the Matadors came out on top with a 6-1 win.
