Riverside—The UC Riverside Men's Soccer Team (2-11-0, 2-4-0) won its second consecutive conference home match Saturday night, defeating Cal State Fullerton (7-6-2, 2-3-1) by a final score of 2-1 thanks to an 80th minute goal by redshirt senior defender
James Alewine III.

Alewine's goal was the first of his career.
Senior midfielder
Ricardo Ruiz earned his first assist of the season on Alewine's game-winner. He has now recorded at least one assist in four consecutive years.
Sophomore forward
Olli Pirinen's penalty kick in the 5th minute gave him his first goal as a Highlander.
UC Riverside has now won two of its last three matches, including two straight at home.
The Highlanders have now scored in six of their last seven outings.
