Lewis, Lefebvre Combine For 50 Points In Women's Basketball's 88-60 Win Over CBU

Riverside—Skyler Lewis and Clemence Lefebvre combined to score 50 points Saturday as the UC Riverside Women's Basketball Team topped visiting California Baptist University 88-60 in the final exhibition match of the season for the Highlanders.
KEY RUN
The Highlanders led by 11 to start the third quarter, 39-28, but scored 12 of the next 14, and the Lancers never got closer than 20 the rest of the way.
GAME NOTES
UC Riverside held the Lancers to 29.7 percent shooting for the game, including holding CBU's starting guards to 9 of 45 from the field. The Lancers starting guards were also 3 for 24 from long distance.
Skyler Lewis and Clemence Lefebvre combined to shoot 20 of 31 from the floor.
Malou De Kergret just missed out on a double-double with 12 points and eight assists.
The Highlanders blocked 12 Lancers shots, which is more than they blocked in any single game last season.
