Riverside–The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team picked up its first victory of the 2017 season, 7-0, over Hope International at the SRC Tennis Center Friday.

The Highlanders won all four matches played, as the Royals forfeited three singles and two doubles matches.

In line no. 1 singles Sara Khattab dispatched Jovanna Milosevic, 6-1, 6-1. Tracy Van earned a victory on court two against Haley Robles 6-1, 6-0. Van also picked a win teamed up with Natalie Penner in doubles play versus HIU's Milosevic and Robles.

Lauren Wolfe was dominate in her line 3 singles match with Jasmine Hyacinth, prevailing 6-0, 6-1.

The blue and gold heads to Cal State Fullerton tomorrow to take on the Titans at 10 am.
