Las Vegas, NV– In their first of four matches in the desert the weekend, the UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team fell, 4-0, to New Mexico State.

The match was ended when the Aggies claimed the first four points, clinching the match. Of the singles matches that were completed, the Highlanders failed to force a third set, and lost 6-0, and 6-1 in the first two doubles matches to finish.

"A very disappointing performance. We can and should do much better than this.", said Head Coach Matias Johansson. "Hopefully this a wake up call for this young team."

UCR gets back into action with a pair of matches tomorrow; 10 am versus Weber State and 2 pm against UNLV.
