Women's Tennis Notches Second Win Of The Season, 5-2 Against South Dakota State

Riverside–The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team knocked off South Dakota State, 5-2, for its second victory of the 2017 season.
The Highlanders were dominate on their home court Wednesday against the Jackrabbits. The visitors took the no. 1 doubles match, 6-2, but Sarah Khattab and Tamilla Vaksman blanked Dijk/Velasco, 6-0 on court 2 to balance the doubles tally.
In the no. 3 match Tracy Van and Lauren Wolfe dispatched Crum and Romero, 6-1 to clinch the double point for the blue and gold. Khattab made quick work South Dakota State's Morgan Brewer surrendering just two games in her 6-2, 6-0 line two singles victory.
Tracy Van, Wolfe, and Abby Valera all picked up straight sets wins on the SRC Tennis Courts.
The team continues on its home stand Thursday at 1:30 pm against Villanova.
