Spilman Tied For Eighth, Men's Golf 11th After Day One In The El Macero Classic

El Macero, CA–Andrew Spilman is tied for eighth and the UC Riverside Men's Golf Team is tied 11th after 36 holes on day one in the El Macero Classic.
Spilman (+6) finished the first round in 10th after carding a two-over 74. He now sits just five strokes back of overall leaders Ben Corfee of UC Davis, and Fresno State's Alex Lee at +1.
The Highlanders are tied with Northern Colorado for 11th, 10 strokes back of the Idaho Vandals in 10th. Oregon State (599) holds the team lead by two strokes event host UC Davis (601).
UCR will gets its final round before the conference tournament underway at 7:20 am tomorrow off hole no. 10. (live scoring)
