Riverside, CA – The University of California Riverside will host cheer and dance tryouts on May 11-13, 2018 and May 18-20, 2018, inside the Athletics and Dance Building located on Canyon Crest Avenue on East Campus, adjacent to Lot 19.

Tryouts are open to incoming and currently enrolled UCR students, which include undergraduate and graduate students. The audition covers selection of spirit team members to cheer and entertain at UCR's fall,
winter, and spring sports during the 2018-2019 academic year.  Attendance is required for the two day camp from the beginning until the end of the tryout, and a mandatory meeting will follow the announcement of results for the new squad.
 
UC Riverside is seeking individuals with either cheer and dance experience and the auditions are open to both men and women.  Students who are selected for the cheer and dance squad must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) units at UCR per quarter. They are not required to be a full-time student.
 
Registration is $25 and can be done via online at https://camps.jumpforward.com/Ucrspiritcamps.  Also, there will be other costs associated with being on the team.
