Women's Tennis Notches First Win Of The Season At Home Opener, 7-0, Over Hope International

Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Tennis Team picked up its first victory of the 2018 season, 7-0, over Hope International at the SRC Tennis Courts Thursday.

The Highlanders won all six matches played, and the Royals forfeited one doubles and two singles matches.

Natalie Penner picked up her second victory of 2018 against Jasmine Hyacinth (6-0, 6-0) on court four. Tracy Van defeated Matea Ancheta (6-0, 6-0) to earn her first victory of 2018. Karla Dulay and Sara Khattab also picked up their first dual singles match wins of the season.

The Highlanders kept the Royals from winning no more than four games total during the entire match.
