RIVERSIDE, Calif.- The UC Riverside Men's Soccer Team had its two-match wins streak ended Saturday night at home falling to UC Davis 3-0.
The Highlanders held possession of the ball in their offensive half for most of the match and registered 11 corner kicks on the night, but were unable to find the net being shutout for just the 3rd time this season.Â
The match would remain scoreless through the first 65 minutes until the Aggies would strike in the 66th notching their first goal to break the tie. They would add two more in the 69th and the 72nd to take the match 3-0.
The Highlanders out shot the Aggies in the 1st half 7-3, but UC Davis would make the most of the 2nd half outshooting UC Riverside 9-2 and notching three scores.

Jose Ponce landed the Highlanders' two shots on goal in the match as each hit on their only attempts.
UCR will now hit the road this week visiting CSUNÂ Wednesday night and Sacramento State Saturday afternoon.
