Riverside, CA—The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team blanked Biola University, 7-0, Saturday morning at the SRC Tennis Courts, notching their third dual match win of the season.

UC Riverside dominated Biola University Saturday, winning every dual match of the day.
In doubles, the Highlanders notched a win in all three positions, taking an early lead with the doubles point. Pairings McCann/Engstrom, Abdallah/Ju and Chung/Subramanyan all defeated their opponents 6-2.
In singles play, UCR continued its winning streak at every position. Nabil Abdallah charted his seventh singles win of the season, winning his No. 5 position match against opponent Logan Blair 5-7, 6-1, 10-8.
Freshman Filip Engstrom is currently on a three-match win streak in singles, winning every singles match of his career thus far. Engstrom defeated his No. 4 position opponent Joe Turnquist 6-1, 6-2.
Engstrom boasts a 6-2 record in doubles with partner Kyle McCann, charting one win at the No. 1 position and five wins at the No. 2 position. Engstrom and McCann lead the Highlanders in doubles wins in 2018.
"We had solid play in doubles from everyone. Overall we had a good singles performance, so a good day in the office. We are looking pretty good for our upcoming Colorado trip," said Coach Mattias Johansson.

The UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team travels to Colorado for three contests. In Colorado Springs, CO, UCR will face Richmond on Saturday February 24, and Air Force Academy on Sunday February 25. The Highlanders will travel to Pueblo, CO in a meeting against Colorado State Sunday afternoon following their match against the Air Force Academy.
