San Luis Obispo, CA – Despite a career-high 22 points from redshirt sophomore Jannon Otto, the UC Riverside Women's Basketball Team (6-17, 3-6) fell at Cal Poly (13-8, 7-2) Saturday afternoon, 91-73.

KEY RUNS
The Highlanders jumped out to an early lead, taking their largest of the day, 16-7, on a pair of Michelle Curry free throws midway through the first quarter.

The Mustangs answered with a 14-0 second quarter run, taking a 40-30 advantage with 3:23 to go in the half. However, UCR answered with a 12-1 run of its own, taking a slight 42-41 lead on a Skyler Lewis jumper early in the third.

Cal Poly took control with another strong spurt, outscoring UCR 26-16 in the third to take a 67-54 lead into the final period. The home side's lead would climb as high as 22 points in the fourth.
