Kyle McCann was the sole Highlander to win earning his 18th singles victory in this road matchup with the Anteaters.
UC Irvine took the doubles round with wins on courts one and two and secured the overall win taking five singles matches.
McCann was a bright spot for the Highlanders winning his 2nd straight singles match defeating Luca Marquad 7-6, 6-3 on court two. The junior has now improved his court two singles record to 11-2 in the dual match season.
UCR returns home this weekend for a Sunday doubleheader with UC Santa Barbara and Arizona Christian.
