Men's Tennis Drops Conference Match to UC Davis 6-1

Davis, Calif.— Saturday afternoon, the UC Riverside Men's Tennis Team (16-18) dropped the final dual match of the regular season 6-1 to UC Davis (8-17).Â
The Aggies took two doubles matches and five singles matches to seal the competition.
In the doubles round, the duo of Fillip Engstrom and Kyle McCann defeated the UC Davis team of David Goulak and Tommy Lam 7-5 on court two. The Aggies took courts one and three to grab a 1-0 lead.
Sophomore Nabil Abdallah added the only singles win of the day for UCR on court four defeating Arjith Jayaraman in straight sets of 6-2, 6-1.
Next on the schedule for the Highlanders is the Big West Conference Championships, which starts this Thursday at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
