Marina Ewodo Signs With French Professional Club Saint Amand Hainaut Basket

Riverside, Calif.-Senior forward Marina Ewodo has signed a professional contract with Saint Amand Hainaut Basket in the professional French league.

"It feels unreal because everything went by so fast. I had a great time at UCR." said Ewodo. Training is scheduled to start in August, the season starts in September, however, there could be delays due to Covid-19 global pandemic. "I'm super excited to play on French courts again and eager to meet my new team." Ewodo joins the Green Girls on a two-year contract.

"Since I'm from there, they've knew about me from my high-school days, and since I was graduating this year, they looked at my film and gave me an opportunity."

Saint Amand Hainaut Basket is headquartered in the North of France, just an hour from the Belguin border. Ewodo is still in Riverside completing her education and will head to France afterwards.
