FULLERTON, Calif. - Freshman Zoe Smith was the lone Highlander competing at the Titan Invitational this Friday, October 22.

The course starts and finishes at the Cal State Fullerton track and consists of multiple loops around the grass recreation fields and through the asphalt and concrete pathways around the CSUF Sports Complex.

Distance coach Zach Newsom said, "We wanted to get Zoe another opportunity to compete as she was dealing with some aches and pains and wasn't able to run at the Highlander Invitationall." He continued, "I'm really proud of the way she competed and she clearly hasn't missed a beat, running the same time that she ran at the UCR invite earlier this season!"

Zoe finished 20th in the 5K out of 113 runners with a time of 18:53.8.\

Next, the Highlanders head to Davis to compete in the Big West Conference Championships on Friday, October 29.
