RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside Cross Country head coach Nate Browne has announced the program's 2021 fall schedule.
This fall brings the return of the UC Riverside Invitational on September 18 and Highlander Invitational on October 16.
"We are excited about the opportunity to have a preseason and full cross country season again," Browne said. "With so many newcomers this year, we wanted to have meets that gave them the opportunity to experience and get used to collegiate racing. This schedule does just that."
The season kicks off on September 1 in a tri-meet with UCLA and UC San Diego in Mammoth Lakes, followed by a preview of the Big West championship course at UC Davis' Stump Invitational on September 10. The squad will return home for the XC UC Riverside (September 18) and Highlander Invitationals (October 16), then close out the regular season against another Big West foe in the October 22 Titan Invitational at Cal State Fullerton.
The Highlanders return to Davis on October 29 for the Big West Championships.
