DAVIS, Calif. – The Highlanders are determined to right their course before heading Saturday to conference co-leading Hawaii after suffering a straight-set loss to UC Davis Tuesday night at University Credit Union Center.
Dejah Dade recorded 13 digs and hit .400 for UC Riverside, but since taking the opening set Oct. 23 at Cal State Fullerton, UCR (5-16, 1-10 Big West) has now lost six straight sets, going down Tuesday to the Aggies (8-14, 4-7 Big West), 18-25, 16-25, 15-25.
Following the team's trip to Hawaii for a 10 p.m. PST start Saturday on Halloween Eve, the Highlanders will return home to host UC Irvine Thursday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. in SRC Arena.
