SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Sam He balanced three birdies against four bogies and finished Round 3 at 1-over, tying him for 13th as an individual with a +1 for the tournament, while UC Riverside finished 12th Tuesday at the conclusion of the UC Santa Barbara Collegiate at Sandpiper Gold Club.
The next-best score into the clubhouse for the Highlanders Tuesday was from Eric Cho, whose 4-over 76 have him a +7 for the 54-hole event (T29).
Jordan Sams finished at +32 following three rounds after a double bogey on the 13th hole hasted his round toward a final 83 (+10) on the day.
Bahram Talle finished the tournament at 45-over, 18 strokes over par coming in Tuesday's action. Â
The Highlanders now have the rest of the month to prepare for the Big West Conference Championship, which takes place May 2-4 at the La Quinta Country Club.
