Cross Country Ticket Policy for UC Riverside Invitational

Annual Fundraising Event Sept. 18 Followed by Free Admission to Highlander Invitational Oct. 16

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – As men's and women's cross country prepare to host their first home event since 2019, the teams will return to their traditional annual fundraising model with a mobile ticketing solution for the UC Riverside Invitational, held Saturday on the UCR Ag Ops Course.
 
Tickets to Saturday's UC Riverside Invitational are $5 per person, with children 2 and under admitted free. Gates open at 6:15 a.m. with men scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. followed by women at 7:50 a.m. Credit card ticket purchases can  be made directly at point of entry or purchased in advance by setting up an account to access tickets and using MasterCard, Visa or Discover for payment. Cash is not accepted for admission at the gate.
 
In order to enter the venue, all fans must complete the university's required Visitors Daily Wellness Check on the same day as the event. Completion and confirmation of the Visitors Daily Wellness Check will be verified, and fans must be symptom-free to gain entry. Water and sports drinks are allowed, but no outside food is permitted at the event. Adherence to staff requests for spectators to follow established protocols, including masking, social distancing and other aspects of visitors' code of conduct, is required.

Parking is free for Saturday's fundraiser and is located for the general public in Lot 30, located off Canyon Crest & Martin Luther King Blvd. Parking for ADA Accessible is also free (placard or plate required) and available at the Ag Ops entry, located off of Canyon Crest, south of Martin Luther King Blvd, across from St. Andrew Orthodox Christian Church.

Adherence to safety and economic protocols prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic has enabled UCR Athletics to welcome Highlander teams back to the field and court for competition in 2021-22, and to do so along with their peers, friends, families and fans.
