LAS VEGAS – UC Riverside finished dual competition in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon at UNLV's Fertitta Tennis Complex, falling 4-0 to Weber State and 4-1 to host UNLV. 

Daniel Velek and Aarav Sane won their third consecutive doubles match, taking the quick 6-1 victory on court three. 

Sane and Andreas Whelan-Merediz had their matches unfinished on courts six and four, respectively, in singles play. Sane grabbed a 6-1 win in set one, dropped set two and was up 2-1 in a decisive set three when the match was abandoned. 

Sane did not appear in doubles play in the weekend finale with the host Rebels, but took UCR's lone singles win on court six with a 6-0, 6-1 decision. 

UC Riverside gets a good two week rest before being back on the court on Thursday, February 10 to host Hope International at the SRC Tennis Courts at 2:00 p.m.
