STOCKTON, Calif. – Josh Hu shot a career-low 65 on Saturday over the course of the Highlanders' final 18 holes, as UCR finished ninth as a team at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invite at the Stockton Country Club.Â
Hu's 65 is tied for the third-lowest individual round in program history and is the first since Scott Clayton at the 2008-09 Saint Mary's Invitational. The senior's final round surge helped him tie for fifth after 54 holes, carding a 205 to tie for the third-lowest 54-hole individual total in UCR history.Â
Eric Cho shot his second eagle of the tournament, also on 14, for UC Riverside's third of the event after Mark Gao went 2-under Friday on 16. Cho turned in a 69 on Saturday and finished tied for 18th.Â
The Highlanders finished in Stockton carding an 853, the program's lowest 54-hole total since the 2003 Del Walker Intercollegiate (855).Â
UC Riverside went 25-under on par 5 scoring to lead the 16-team field, led by Gao's 4.11 average.Â
