Highlanders Complete Day One in Boulder Creek

BOULDER CREEK, Nev. – UC Riverside completed round one at The Clash at Boulder Creek on Sunday at the Boulder zCreek Golf Club in Boulder Creek, Nevada.Â
Vanessa Betancourt tied for third in the field with an average of 2.75 on par 3 scoring, recording birdies on 12 and 13 to shoot 4-over 76 for the day. Maleyna Gregorio also birdied 13 as part of UCR's opening round.
Tiffany Le leads the Highlanders after 18 holes in Nevada, shooting a 3-over 75 on Sunday to enter Monday tied for 33rd. Mylan Hirata and Nicole Le are competing as individuals in Boulder Creek.Â
Nicole Le and Gregorio will get the Highlanders going on Monday with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start in round two.Â
