Box Score Fresno, Calif - The University of California, Riverside Highlanders traveled north to Fresno State to challenge the Bulldogs in a midweek non-conference bout.
In the first quarter, the Highlanders looked to establish themselves on the Bulldogs' court, scoring 10 and letting up 14.
The second half the Bulldogs established dominance, holding UC Riverside to just 6 points as they went on a 17 point spree, accounting for their highest scoring period.
The Highlanders entered the locker room at half time trailing Fresno State 31-16.
In the second half, UCR fought for a comeback, ultimately falling short with a final score of 54-40.
Jordyn Marshall and Jordan Webster lead their team in scoring with 12 points each. Defensively, Mele Finau took control snatching up five rebounds.
