Men’s Golf Completes Play in Jurupa Valley

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. - UCR men's golf completed its second spring tournament on Tuesday at The Joust in Jurupa Valley.
UC Riverside finished 11th out of 15 teams with two individual top 50 finishers in Same He (T37) and Josh Hu (44). He shot a 1-over 72 on Tuesday to finish at 74-79-72-225 for the tournament, while Hu carded a 2-over 73 for a final tally of 76-77-73-226.
Trent Hirdler recorded six pars and a birdie on the back nine, while Minjae Park parred eight of the nine holes on the back nine. Both birdied the 10th hole.
As a whole, the Highlanders performed exceptionally well on the back nine with at least six pars for all five golfers and five combined birdies.
UC Riverside returns to the links on March 2 for the three-day Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club in Palm Desert.
