NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - UC Riverside took its recent stretch into the Valley on Saturday afternoon, downing CSUN 72-59 at the Matadome for the season sweep.
The Highlanders have now won five straight and six of their last eight, and the five-game stretch is the first since the 2015-16 team won 17 straight en route to the WNIT.
"It was a great team win today on the road. We still have a lot of work to do to be our best, but we are looking forward to getting back to work this week ahead of two tough games," head coach Nicole Powell said.
UC Riverside is holding its last five opponents to 51.6 points per game and 21.7 percent from downtown.

West, who finished the afternoon with 13 points and her fourth 10-point game in her last five, has now connected on multiple threes in three of her last four games.
