Box Score RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside picked up a doubles win on court two from a veteran/freshman tandem, but fell 4-0 to Pacific on Thursday at the SRC Tennis Courts. 

Senior Natalie Shamma teamed up with freshman Niki Shahbazi on court two in doubles play to take a commanding 6-2 win and tie the doubles session before Pacific secured the match's doubles point. 

Sofia Lazzaroni held a one-set advantage on court three when her match was abandoned. 

The seven-match homestand continues for UCR on Saturday, February 5 against Grand Canyon at 11:00 a.m. from the SRC Tennis Courts before the Highlanders host UC Davis on Sunday, February 6 to open Big West play.
