Two Top-25 Finishes Highlight Final Day in Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. - Sam He finished tied for 11th (80-71-71-222) and Josh Hu tied for 23rd (79-75-73-227) as the Highlanders wrapped up the Orange County Collegiate Classic on Tuesday at Coto de Caza South Course.

He shot a 71 for the second straight round to finish out UCR's first spring competition while he and Hu each made par on 14 of their 18 holes. Hu placed second in the field with 35 pars.

Minjae Park tied for second in the field with a 3.08 average on par 3s, while He averaged a 4.17 on par 4s and 4.58 on par 5s. Seven of UCR's 12 birdies for the final day came on the front nine.

UC Riverside next heads to The Joust hosted by California Baptist on Monday, February 21, a two-day event held at the Goose Creek Golf Course in Jurupa Valley.
