Box Score RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Riverside men's tennis played its fifth match in 10 days on Thursday morning at the SRC Tennis Courts, falling 6-1 to Gonzaga.
Daniel Velek and
Aarav Sane were unable to make it doubles wins on back-to-back days, falling 6-1 on court two in the morning. Ryan Hyunh returned to the lineup and teamed up with
Andreas Whelan-Merediz on court three, taking UCR's lone doubles match, 6-3.
Antreas Djakouris fell in set one on court one but battled back to seal his singles win with an 11-9 third set.
With a compacted first 10 days of March done, UC Riverside will take a three-week break before welcoming Cal Poly to the Inland Empire for the Big West opener on Monday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. on ESPN+.
