SAN DIEGO - No. 5 UC Riverside fell 4-0 to No. 4 Hawaii in the First Round of the Big West Championships on Friday morning at the Barnes Tennis Center.
Justin Lamy cruised to a first-set win on court six before his match was abandoned, finishing off a successful freshman campaign. Antreas Djakouris and Joshua Roth went unfinished on court two after a 4-4 tie, and Roth went on to go unfinished in singles as well despite holding a 5-3 lead on court five.
UC Riverside finishes the season at 6-17.
