Nolan McCaig and
Daniel Velek were a point away from returning to winning ways in doubles, leading 5-2 when the match was abandoned. The duo is 5-1 this season and has had two of their last three matches go unfinished.
McCaig was on the verge of pulling level on court two in singles when his match was abandoned. The match was called at 4-6, 5-3, and a win would have made it three victories in the senior's last four matches.
Andreas Whelan-Merediz and
Justin Lamy also had their matches abandoned.
UC Riverside returns home on Saturday, April 9 to host Claremont Mudd-Scripps at 9:00 a.m.
