FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - UC Riverside's trio of JT Ober III, Linda Perez and Collette Lowengrub completed their runs at the NCAA West Prelims at the University of Arkansas's John McDonnell Field. 

Perez and Lowengrub represented UCR in the women's 10k on Thursday while Ober competed in the men's javelin on Wednesday.

Lowengrub ran the third-best time for a freshman in the event with a 34:38.00, while Linda was the fifth-best with a 35:18.88. Both times were good for top-40 finishes. The two were

Ober wrote another chapter in his portion of the program record book with a 58.44m in the men's javelin. The junior appeared in the second West Prelim of his career after making it as a freshman in 2019 in Sacramento.
