RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Riverside picked up win number one of the 2023 season on Wednesday at the SRC Tennis Courts with a 4-0 sweep of Hope International. 

The Highlanders picked up the doubles point on all three courts, highlighted by a dominant 6-1 performance from Ryan Huynh and Aarav Sane. 

Huynh picked up win number two in the afternoon with a 7-5, 6-2 win on six, joined by Joshua Roth (6-1, 6-2) and Justin Lamy (6-3, 6-1).

The Highlanders are headed to Las Vegas for the weekend, beginning with a neutral-site match against New Mexico State on Friday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m.
