PHOENIX, Ariz. - UC Riverside women's golf sits in the top half of the leaderboard after 36 holes at the GCU Spring Invite, held at the GCU Golf Course in Phoenix, Arizona. Spots six through 11 are separated by just five strokes heading into Tuesday's final round.Â
Tiffany Le (70-74-144) leads the Highlanders after day one, currently in a tie for 14th and just two strokes outside the top 10. Six birdies helped Le card a 70 in round one, her eighth round at or below par this season.Â
Vanessa Betancourt (75-73-148) and Mylan Hirata (74-74-148) are in a tie for 31st while Nicole Le (75-79-154) is a stroke inside the top 60.Â
UC Riverside will conclude the tournament with just 18 holes in Tuesday's final round.
