RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside dropped a 4-1 decision to Fordham on Friday afternoon at the SRC Tennis Courts. 

Sofia Lazzaroni went unfinished in both her matches while Niki Shahbazi rebounded from her doubles loss to take UCR's singles win, a 6-0, 6-4 decision on five. Brionna Nguyen was on the verge of forcing a decisive third set on one before abandonment.

UC Riverside will resume Big West play on April 6 with a 1:30 p.m. first serve against UC Irvine at the SRC Tennis Courts.
