FRESNO, Calif. - UC Riverside is 36 holes through the Fresno State Classic at the San Joaquin Country Club with Tiffany Le (T3) and Mylan Hirata (T15) each sitting in the top 15 entering Tuesday. 

Le (70-73-143) matched her total from last year with her 10th round at or below par, which has now happened in just four seasons overall in program history. Her seven birdies on day one moved her into fourth all-time in program history with 73 birdies, as Le is now just the fourth Highlander in history to record at least 70 in a season. 

Mylan Hirata (73-74-147) posted her lowest 36-hole score of the season with seven birdies, including going 1-under on the fifth hole in both rounds. Hirata's 147 after two rounds is one stroke below her 148 set just two tournaments ago at the GCU Spring Invite. 

Vanessa Betancourt (80-75-155) is tied for 56th with a 13-spot jump in the leaderboard. 

Round three from the San Joaquin Country Club will tee off on Monday morning to close out the Fresno State Classic.
