RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside kept it rolling offensively on Sunday afternoon with a 9-1 run-rule victory over Wagner. 

Brooke Perez was dealing the circle for the streaking Highlanders, as the freshman went 4.0 innings with five strikeouts while retiring four of her first five batters. 

UCR got back-to-back four-pitch walks to kick off the first inning, leading to Lauryn Garewal on second and Nadia Witt on first. The Highlanders executed the double steal to perfection, moving both runners up 60 feet before Garewal came home on an error by the Seakhawk catcher. 

UC Riverside stretched its final eight runs across innings three through five, putting up a three-spot in the third inning and four-spot in the decisive fifth. Taylor Burdette knocked in the game-winning RBI on a groundout to short to cap off her 2-for-3 afternoon. 

UCR already has three this season in the midst of a four-game win streak.
