RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside dropped a 6-1 decision to Georgetown on Tuesday afternoon at the SRC Tennis Courts. 

Sofia Lazzaroni and Maya Youssef were unfinished in their doubles match on three, but were right there with their counterparts from Georgetown. Lazzaroni showed just as much fight in a 7-6 (7), 7-5 win on three. 

Brianna Nguyen went ahead one set to none on one, but her Georgetown opponent found her footing and pushed ahead for the win. 

UC Riverside is back in action on Friday, March 17 hosting another east coast school in Fordham at 1:30 p.m. from the SRC Tennis Courts. .
